Black Friday 2019 Flash Sale: Borderlands 3 And Red Dead 2 PC Deals Live Now

Just as more early Black Friday 2019 deals are rolling out, the digital marketplace Fanatical has also jumped into the fray offering more savings on the year’s hottest games. Lasting until November 29, the Fanatical Black Friday sale will offer up a variety of unique deals on well-known games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Borderlands 3, while also showing off some of the more obscure and overlooked games from recent years.

What sets Fanatical’s online sale apart from others are the unique flash sales happening every 24 hours. Every day of the week-long sale will cycle in a new set of games that can be purchased at a more significant discount than usual. In addition to the flash sales, other games on sale include Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Superhot VR, NBA 2K20, and Civilization VI. Like other digital distribution sites, Fanatical will send you a code for each purchase, which will need to be redeemed at their respective gaming clients. As an example, Red Dead Redemption 2 can be played on the Rockstar Games Launcher, while Borderlands 3 is playable on the Epic Games Store client.

In addition to these deals, Fanatical is also offering further discounts with the use of promo codes. On Fanatical’s front page, you’ll find a special promo code BLACK10 for up to 10% off with any purchase. Along with that, another promo code you can use is GAMESPOT11, which will give you an 11% discount on your overall haul. However, you can only use one promo code at a time, so stacking multiple ones will not work.

There are several big games included in this sale, one of which is Borderlands 3. Released in September, the game was largely well-received, offering a pretty satisfying return to the Borderlands universe. In GameSpot’s Borderlands 3 review, editor Jordan Ramée described the game’s strengths, stating; “The game’s character-driven narrative acts as a satisfying finale for the loot-shooter franchise, and the new mechanics and features–especially the reworked skill trees and weapon manufacturer effects–give you plenty of agency in how you want to play through it.”
